Minimum Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should bring:

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in customer service or sales support.
  • Basic familiarity with technology products is an advantage (not complusory but helpful).

Key Responsibilities

As a Service Centre Administrator, you will play a central role in ensuring the store runs smoothly and customers have a positive experience. Your duties will include:

1. Providing Excellent Customer Service

  • Assist customers with enquiries, product details, and service-related queries.
  • Maintain a professional and helpful attitude at all times.
  • Ensure customers are directed to the correct department or staff member.

2. Achieving Sales Targets

  • Support the sales team by managing service centre activities that contribute to store sales goals.
  • Promote relevant products when needed and guide customers through purchasing decisions.

3. Maintaining Product Knowledge

  • Keep up-to-date with new devices, accessories, warranties, and service options.
  • Attend product training and briefings to remain informed about the store’s offerings.

4. Merchandising and Store Presentation

  • Ensure displays, shelves, and the service centre area are neat, clean, and visually appealing.
  • Assist with stock rotation and ensure products are correctly labelled.

5. Safety & Security Contribution

  • Follow all in-store security protocols.
  • Assist in reducing stock loss by practising accurate administration and monitoring high-value items.

6. Effective Teamwork and Self-Management

  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver seamless service.
  • Take responsibility for your tasks, time management, and performance.
  • Support team members during busy trading periods or promotional cycles.
